Let me jump a little bit, this is actually my introduction to my blog to tell you why I've decided to jump on the bloggers train.
I gave my life to Christ around the age of 17 but bared the name of a Christian way before that. I was a church goer, only prayed when I felt bad or guilty about something and my Religious Studies lessons were probably the only time I really opened my Bible. I had seen people pray like they life depended on it, I had heard people speak in tongues, I had seen bottles of anointing oil to last you for years; but still I only knew about Jesus, I didn't know Him for myself, like hearing about ans seeing the cheesecake. However there was time when I began to hear the Word of God and it was explained to me in a way I had never heard before. I started to notice things about myself, I started to see my sin. As much as tried to cover it up, conceal it, leave it behind it became evident that Jesus was the only one who could make me whole and trying to fix my ways by myself was like beating the air with my fists. After times of struggling and denial I finally gave my life to Him (Roman 10:9-10). I hungered to know Him and who I was so I began to read, I listened, I believed, amd put my faith into practice. Through set backs and times of doubt, He has always brought me back. After I gave my life to Him I made a decision to seek this mighty God everyone talked about, like finally deciding to try that cheesecake for myself.
You see I used to believe that certain things were not possible, not in this day and age, and I know that there are many who still think that this Christian walk is 'hype', a phase’, ‘too hard’ ‘a struggle’ even 'deprivation', but my life and the lives of many people who will feature are examples that this walk is as real, is as tangible and is as enjoyable as the cheesecake I love to it (even more so). This is what the blog is about : taking out the fake, the rumors, the misconceptions, leaving just:

I never claim to know everything and I'm still learning and willing to listen to others but I dare you to stop listening, watching and basing your life around other people's mistakes but come see, hear and taste 'the real cheesecake' for yourself! No matter where you are, who you are, where you come from or, what you've done you can be transformed and changed (Romans 3:22-26) The question is are you ready to take a bite?
